Travel
In spite of the widely held belief that there is nothing but water south of Belleville we are very easy to find. Mistaken more than a few times for the great province of Prince Edward Island you need to know that regardless of whether you knew before or not there are some slight differences between the two places – aside from the 16.5 hours traveling time to cover the 1500 kms between us. On the other hand both places are surrounded by water. You do have to take either a ferry or bridge to get to either place. And we have had quite few calls over the past few years asking about Charlottetown (our ‘capital’ is Picton) Rest assured if you register for their October 5th Marathon and show up for our October 14th Marathon we will honour your entry here in the smaller version of Prince Edward.
But really seriously – we are easy to find – just off the 401 - and once you have found us I suspect you will want to come back time and again. Cheers and see you here this fall!
