Prince Edward County Marathon
7th Annual County Marathon, October 3, 2010. Featuring a Boston Qualifying Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Team Challenge. Come to ‘the County’ to run a scenic course that’s fast and friendly!!

Race Weekend

The County Marathon weekend starts and finishes with a visit to the Crystal Palace, 375 Main Street, Picton. Race Kit Pick Up is Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM.  Sunday morning there will be a limited ONE HOUR ONLY 7 AM - 8 AM.  Should you choose this option we are not responsible for you getting to the start line on time.  Shirts are given out on a first come first serve basis.  Our Saturday night Pasta Dinner is famous. Be sure to sign up for it when you register - only $20. Families are welcome - children are only $5!

On Race Day your race bib will allow you access to the our buses for the full day. Buses will leave from the Crystal Palace to start taking Full Marathon and Team Challenge runners to the start line in Wellington at 6:30 AM on Sunday morning - Race day. You will want to catch the bus as early as you can – the last bus will leave at 7:30 but please be at the Crystal Palace ready to board no later than 7 AM.
 
Half Marathon Runners and Team Challenge runners running on the second half of the course will begin boarding at 7:30 AM. The last bus will leave at 8:30 but please be at the Crystal Palace ready to board no later than 8 AM.
 
Road closures will impede your travel on the course after 8 AM as well. If you want to be somewhere on the course, please make sure you are at your final destination no later than 8 AM.
 
Post Race Events start at 1:00 PM with our awards ceremony. You should be able to head home by 3 PM at the latest.
