Team Challenge
The Team Challenge is a great way to do the marathon with friends. All you need are 4 friends and a bunch of straws - someone has to pull the longest part, someone else will be hoping to run the shortest ‘weakest link' while someone else may want to run through the start or finish line gates...no worries though regardless of which leg you run our rotating buses should get you all back to the finish line area so you can all run across the finish line (in spite of the team member who drew that straw!).
Named in honour of Sgt Bob Chapman's and Rob Legge's stellar efforts coordinating things the first time through - Police service and auxiliary members from across Eastern Ontario make this one of the safest best organized road races in Canada - why wouldn't we name it after them?
And of course it's also fun to try to outrun the cops (this really should be the only time you can legally take pleasure from trying to accomplish this feat). So, get a team together - be assured there are a good number of the men and women in blue out there right now training to make sure you finish...second...third...tenth...
